Los Angeles business start-up – The World Networks, Inc- is all about connections

We all grew up hearing, “It’s all about who you know, and not so much what you know in business to succeed.” But today, with so much of every business and industry Social Media driven, “it’s all about who knows you.”

“We have a 'group' environment and everyone is involved in decision making,” explain Founder Lousine Karibian  of The World Networks (TWN), Inc., who is launching The Official World Networks, Inc. is made up of 15 companies specializing in niche marketing offering online and event marketing services to professionals and businesses worldwide.

Karibian has a large business network of her own and the Armenian California State University, Northridge business student entrepreneur has had much success in getting new business and new memberships for The World Networks, Inc.  Last June 1, 2012, she was noticed at the grand opening of The Gor Studios in Burbank, CA, where memberships were announced and networking started to take off. The Gor Studios is a member. 

Now, the official website launch of The World Networks business kicks off next week (August 29, 2012), and is scheduled to take place in Hollywood, CA, the heart of the entertainment industry.  Three business leaders are expected to be spotlighted:

The honorary member and guest speaker is Actor, Director and Writer Jack Topalian, who was born in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia and who immigrated to USA with his family at age 10. Topalian just completed Argo (post production, 2012), a thriller based on a true story, and Betrayal (post-production, 2012)

Carnival of Darkness Horror/Sci-Fi Short Film Festival retains MAYO Communications for Publicity

MAYO Communications announced today (Monday, Aug. 20, 2012), it has been retained for public relations services to promote two projects: the 3rd Annual Carnival of Darkness Horror-Sci-Fi Short Film Festival and the Award Winning Web Series Good Job, Thanks!”, (YouTube Channel (

The Festival is headed by award-winning Director Alex Bram. This year's event will be held on
October 24th 2012 at the Los Angeles Film School on Sunset Blvd. In the spirit of Halloween, the selected filmmakers will get to be interviewed and photographed on the “Blood Red Carpet.”
