TV’s hit series Family Time Star Angell Conwell (Bounce Network), will turn 29
on August 2, 2012,, but friends, cast and crew, along with her family, no pun intended, couldn’t wait, and celebrated  her birthday at the Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar in Studio City Tuesday, July 24, 2012. It was the red carpet premier celebration of her new series, ‘Family Time', created by Bentley Kyle Evans, starring Omar Gooding, Angell Conwell and Jayla Calhoun.
Angell, is also known for her role as attorney Leslie Michaelson on the number one daytime drama, ‘The Young and the Restless', was joined by friends, family, cast and crew to screen this new comedy series inside the famous Crust Gourmet pizza in Studio City, CA. ‘Family Time’ is about the life and times of The Stallworths, high school sweethearts and a working class African American family, which scratch off a winning lottery ticket becoming middle class overnight.
“It’s TV imitating life of a blue collar family, said Bentley Kyle Evans.”  “I got my wife here Angell Conway, got my kids and just like the show we’re an African American family working to live the dream.” said Omar Gooding

“It’s a great black urban comedy shown in the black experience from a perspective of a young mother and father, who were high school sweethearts, and now they have a wonderful family and it’s all about their wonder times,” said Family Time Exec. Producer, Bentley Evans, (The Jamie Foxx Show, Always and Forever).

Gooding makes up the family-next-door as two loving parents: Anthony (Omar Gooding) and Lisa (Angell Conwell) Stallworth and their children Ebony (Jayla Calhoun) and Devin (Bentley Kyle Evans, Jr.) A short list of others invited to the red carpet event included:
Cuba Gooding Jr.; Kristoff St. John; Dorian Gregory; Joyful Drake; Director Jessy Terrero, Vanessa Chester, Jurassic Park II, and even General Hospital’s Emmy award-winning Lexi Ainsworth  was on the red carpet.
Jackie Christie, VH1's Basketball Wives LA was also on the red carpet and she said, the fans are just as loyal to the wives as they are to the basketball stars.

Born in the tiny town of Orangeburg, South Carolina, Angell Conwell began her journey at a very young age. After winning countless pageants locally, she signed with Wilhelmina's Kids Division in New York at the age of 10. Angell enjoyed modeling but yearned for more of a challenge. She begged for her parents permission to audition for a role in August Wilson's highly acclaimed, "Fences". She landed the role and quickly realized, pursuing an acting career was exactly what she would set out to do.

At age 11, Angell and her mother packed their bags and headed to Los Angeles for pilot season. During their last scheduled week of stay, she booked the CBS/Disney pilot "On our Own". Although, the pilot wasn't picked up, the network noticed this vibrant young actress and soon moved her back to Hollywood to star as Meshach Taylor's daughter on the CBS show "Dave's World".  Over the years, she continued to enthusiastically guest star and recur on dozens of hit shows, NYPD Blue, City Guys, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Moesha and 3rd Rock from the Sun, to name a few.
